Saturday March 8, 2008 is International Women’s Day; a day to celebrate the accomplishments of women worldwide but also to acknowledge their struggles.
What will I, as the owner of The Flower Pot, do to further the awareness for the cause? We are planning to honor all women with flowers this week. I will go to Montreal’s weekly Flower Auction on Tuesday March 4, to secure a large quantity of tulips, my favorite spring bloom. And as of Tuesday we will offer bunches of tulips at very affordable prices. Specially after this very long and white winter all women need a break.
