I’m back in The World of Flowers for the summer :-)
Today, I’d like to talk about the first National Environmental Exhibition (NEE) held this week-end, June 1st to 4, 2006 in Montreal Old Port. The work COOP Terre Nouvelle organised this event. Local businesses displayed their ecological products and services. Non-profit organisms and ecological groups were there to inform and educate public about the following topics:
- Education, health and awareness
- Water, air and earth
- Waste, recycling, composting
- Bio-agriculture, fair trade, simple living
- Clean and renewable energies
- Eco-construction and eco-villages
- Eco-tourism and recreation
- Transport, technology, science
- Craft, fashion and art
